Our boutique hotel was completely renovated down to the smallest detail in summer 2024. Relax in our lovingly furnished rooms, which offer a blend of contemporary design and a feel-good atmosphere. The courtyard with its airy lounge invites you to linger and unwind. Thanks to the central location at Domplatz, we are the ideal starting point for discovering the charming city of Klagenfurt or exploring the beauties of the region.
FLEXIBLE & EASY – SELF CHECK-IN AROUND THE CLOCK…
Sometimes things don’t go as planned, and you arrive later than expected – at our place you can conveniently check in at any time using our self-check-in service. You will receive the 4-digit code for the key safe at the hotel entrance one day in advance by email via your booking account.
No reception desk – no problem! In emergencies, we are available via email.
Dogs are also welcome upon request; a €20 cleaning fee applies.
CENTRAL LOCATION IN THE HEART OF KLAGENFURT…
Our Cityhotel at Domplatz not only offers you a prime location but also a warm and inviting atmosphere. Our building is 300 years old – we combine history with comfort! Due to historical and architectural reasons, installing air conditioning systems and an elevator was not possible. Therefore, we are not barrier-free.
A DELIGHTFUL START…
Start your day relaxed before exploring the nearby sights. From Monday to Friday you can enjoy à la carte breakfast in the adjoining Café & Restaurant ZWEIERLEI, or on Saturdays and Sundays at Café Il de France just two houses away. For in-between, you will also find a drinks and snack machine in the foyer – even a “forgotten” toothbrush can be picked up there. New at Domplatz, you can now also enjoy a glass of wine in the evening at the Weindealer.

With around 22 hectares, the park is the largest in Klagenfurt am Wörthersee and also one of the largest parks in Austria.

The New Square
The rectangular-shaped Neuer Platz is the central town square of Klagenfurt, in the middle of which stands the Lindwurm, the city's landmark and heraldic animal. The square was created in the second half of the 16th century, when the Estates had their new Renaissance town built south of the medieval one.
The Old Square
